BigCommerce Holdings Inc. reported a 3% year-over-year increase in the Q1 2025 revenue, driven by gains in its enterprise customer base and continued growth in annual recurring revenue from its largest accounts, the company said in its May earnings release.
Total BigCommerce revenue reached $82.4 million for its Q1 ended March 31, 2025. That’s up from $80.4 million in Q1 2024. Enterprise annual recurring revenue (ARR) — from accounts with at least one enterprise plan — grew 6% year over year to $263.8 million, representing 75% of total ARR. Total ARR increased 3% to $350.8 million.
The Austin-based ecommerce platform, which serves B2C and B2B brands, retailers, manufacturers, and distributors, narrowed its GAAP net loss to $353,000 in Q1 2025. That’s down from a $6.4 million loss a year ago. Non-GAAP net income rose 14% to $5.7 million, or 7% of revenue. That’s up from $5.0 million, or 6% of revenue, in the prior quarter.
“Our transformation efforts are leading to encouraging signs of progress,” said Travis Hess, CEO of BigCommerce. “We have acted decisively to transform the company, brought in top leaders with SaaS and commerce expertise, and invested strategically to strengthen our core offerings for B2B and B2C businesses across BigCommerce, Feedonomics and Makeswift.”
More than 60 of the Top 2000 online retailers used BigCommerce as an ecommerce platform provider. Those 62 retailers combine for more than $4.1 billion in annual ecommerce sales.
