Ace Hardware has announced a delivery partnership with Uber Eats across the United States.
The hardware cooperative operates more than 3,700 locations across the country. As of April 7, consumers can now shop from each location through the Uber Eats app, the companies announced.
Bill Kiss, head of digital at Ace Hardware, said in the announcement that the retailer relies on a network of locally owned stores “that are deeply rooted in the communities they serve.” Partnering with Uber Eats on delivery allows Ace Hardware to “meet our customers wherever they are,” Kiss added.
“Whether they’re tackling a last-minute project or planning ahead, our customers now have greater access to fast, flexible solutions for getting the products they need delivered right to their doorstep,” Kiss said.
Ace Hardware Corp. is No. 627 in the Top 2000 Database. The database tracks North America’s largest online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales and more. The retailer said its “family of brands” includes Ace Hardware, Emery Jensen Distribution and independent retailers worldwide.
Ace Hardware uses Uber Eats to expand delivery
In September 2025, Ace Hardware announced a same-day delivery partnership with DoorDash. In that announcement, Ace Hardware and DoorDash said they made 4,000 locally owned Ace Hardware locations accessible through DoorDash’s ecommerce platform.
Ace Hardware joins retailers in expanding their use of last-mile delivery partnerships to further their reach.
Ace Hardware said it has more than 8,800 locally owned and operated stores across the globe. It said it has more than 5,200 in the U.S. alone.
Retailers with physical stores increasingly have been using DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats to deliver online orders directly from those locations. This has added a new dynamic to retailers’ omnichannel approaches, as they integrate their product catalogs with the delivery providers and must update inventory to reflect sales through the providers’ platforms.
The partnership with Uber Eats allows Ace Hardware customers to schedule orders for delivery or have them delivered as soon as possible, the companies said. Customers can then track their deliveries in real-time, according to the companies.
Uber Eats said it added more than 1,000 retailers around the world in 2025. And in the U.S., it said, Uber Eats added delivery accessibility from more than 50,000 retail locations to its platform in 2025.
Hashim Amin, head of grocery and retail for Uber in North America, said consumers are turning to the company “for more than just meals.”
“They rely on us for a variety of essentials, from paint supplies, to mulch for the garden, to the tools needed to kick off a weekend yard cleanup,” Amin said in the companies’ announcement.
