Target Circle Week is returning this July, coinciding with Walmart Deals and Amazon Prime Day — and offering 2024 prices, the retailer said.
And Target Circle 360 members will get early access to deals starting the day before.
Announced the same day as Walmart’s sales event, Target Circle Week 2025 is also the longest of the three promotional periods — a full week, as the name suggests. Meanwhile, Amazon’s summer Prime Day event will also be its longest yet, running four days.
Target said it’s maintaining 2024 prices on key back-to-school items, including its popular list of “20 must-have supplies,” which it said will still add up to a total of less than $20. It will also maintain last year’s top-selling $5 backpack at that price point.
Target is No. 5 in the Top 2000. The database is Digital Commerce 360’s ranking of North America’s online retailers by web sales. Digital Commerce 360 categorizes Target as a Mass Merchant.
When is Target Circle Week 2025?
Target Circle Week returns July 6 through 12, the retailer announced. Target Circle 360 members will get early access to deals starting July 5.
The retailer offers a free loyalty program, Target Circle, and a paid membership program, Target Circle 360.
The promotional period will feature savings on summer and back-to-school essentials, Target said. On top of that, Target announced the return of its student and teacher discounts. Verified college students will receive a one-time 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle starting June 29. And verified teachers also will receive a 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle, from July 20 through Aug. 30.
Through Sept. 13, teachers and students alike can save 50% on a one-year membership to Target Circle 360. The paid membership program includes unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35.
“This is such an important time for everyone preparing to head back to class — or heading off to school for the first time,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Target, in a statement. “The Target team will be there for families by holding last year’s prices on key school supplies and standing tall for unrivaled style, quality and exceptional value.”
