Last year, it held Walmart Deals just days after Walmart+ Week. This year, Walmart's summer sales event comes months after Walmart+ Week.

Walmart has announced the return of Walmart Deals, which for the first time will be available both in stores and online.

Walmart Deals will also coincide with Amazon’s summer Prime Day event and Target Circle Week. Although not member-exclusive, Walmart Deals will offer “first dibs” for Walmart+ members, the retailer announced.

Walmart Deals comes months after Walmart+ Week, which fell at the end of March and beginning of April this year. Walmart+ Week is the retailer’s annual members-only sales event. The retailer said its loyalty program, Walmart+, has maintained strong momentum and achieved double-digit growth. Its delivery volumes are consistently increasing across quarters, along with repeat order rates, it said.

Last year, it held Walmart Deals just days after Walmart+ Week. Walmart Deals, Amazon’s 10th Prime Day event and Target Circle Week sale all fell in July in 2024.
