An analysis of 10 publicly traded retailers that sell exclusively on the web and break out e-commerce sales on a quarterly basis—including Amazon.com Inc., Wayfair Inc. and Etsy Inc.—shows online-only merchants collectively grew 30% in the third quarter ended Sept. 30. The vast majority of that growth, however, was driven by Amazon, which accounted for 93% of this growth.
