Xometry Inc., a B2B marketplace for manufacturing services, has appointed Sanjeev Singh Sahni as its new president.

In this newly created role, Sahni will oversee the company’s global operations, product development, technology, and workforce initiatives. He will report directly to CEO Randy Altschuler.

Sahni brings extensive experience in B2B and ecommerce from his tenure at Wayfair, where he most recently served as vice president of B2B ecommerce and head of B2B & B2C Sales. During his time at Wayfair, he played a key role in scaling the company’s multi-billion-dollar B2B operations, enhancing customer experience, and developing international supply chain capabilities. He also led CastleGate Forwarding, Wayfair’s digital freight forwarding division.

Before joining Wayfair, Sahni was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised Fortune 500 companies and government entities on transportation, logistics, and strategy.

“Sanjeev’s leadership experience in scaling complex operations and driving innovation makes him an excellent addition to our team as we continue to grow globally,” Altschuler said.

In connection with his appointment as president, Sahni will receive an annual base salary of $460,000, a performance-based bonus equal to 70% of his base salary and stock valued at $2.250 million.
