Xometry has expanded its global custom-manufacturing marketplace and it now includes more than 4,200 active suppliers, marking a 34% increase—equivalent to over 780 new suppliers—during the first three quarters of 2024. This represents a threefold expansion since 2021.
The company attributes its growth to its sourcing algorithms, which facilitate opportunities for suppliers, and the accessibility of its Instant Quoting Engine. The platform supports 16 local languages and multiple currencies, enabling suppliers worldwide to join and conduct business across regions.
“Our marketplace allows suppliers to expand their reach to enterprise customers globally, while buyers gain instant access to a growing network of manufacturers across North America, Europe, and Asia,” said Peter Goguen, Xometry’s chief operating officer.
The supplier network now spans all 50 U.S. states and three continents, offering a wide range of manufacturing capabilities, including CNC machining, injection molding, laser cutting, additive manufacturing, and more.
Xometry’s cloud-based Workcenter system streamlines the onboarding process for new suppliers, providing an entry point to its digital ecosystem. The company’s expanding supplier base also enables it to serve enterprise customers in industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, energy, and medical devices, handling complex projects, including multi-year production orders and post-manufacturing assembly.
“Our growing network positions us as a trusted partner for on-demand manufacturing,” Goguen added.
