Omnichannel maintains its momentum

BOPIS and curbside pickups are flourishing. Mobile is fueling omnichannel activity as shoppers buy across an array of categories and retailers leverage apps to facilitate the process.

A Digital Commerce 360 and Bizrate Insights survey of 1,069 online shoppers found that the use of buy online, pick up in store for purchases, along with its curbside cousin, is still a popular option for many. Nearly three quarters of omnichannel shoppers frequently or only use retailer apps to shop. 35% of shoppers made more than 10 omnichannel purchases in the last six months. Most shoppers will use omnichannel features the same amount or more in 2023.
