Leader in mobile shopping experiences expands its 360-degree shopper journey services to deliver new localized in-app coupons and loyalty card access for consumers

CHICAGO, IL (October 11, 2017) – Retale (www.retale.com), a technology company that develops mobile-first shopping experiences, today announced the debut of its Clip To Card feature. Clip To Card is powered by Retale’s new partnership with Cellfire, a subsidiary of Catalina, the personalized digital media company.

With Clip To Card, hundreds of CPG coupons from leading brands are now available to consumers through the Retale app. Retale is also debuting a new mobile loyalty card wallet – allowing users to upload, sync and save their retailer loyalty cards directly within the Retale app.

Retale users can now easily search for relevant consumer packaged goods coupons, then “clip” and apply them directly to their favorite retailers’ loyalty cards for easy redemption in-store, without ever leaving the app. Once in-store, customers simply scan their physical loyalty card or input their phone number to receive any coupons they have clipped to their card.

“In order to create a successful shopping resource and experience for consumers today, you need to create a dynamic environment where all the tools consumers need are right at their fingertips,” said Nels Stromborg, Managing Director of Retale. “Clip To Card tackles these expectations head-on, providing added value and functionality for our users.”

Digital coupons are a massive touchpoint for retailers and brands, with more than 145 million U.S. adults anticipated to turn to paperless coupons for savings by 2021. With Clip To Card, Retale helps retailers and brands deliver the most relevant offers to shoppers when they are looking for deals, and motivated to buy.

“The way shoppers engage with brands and retailers is changing every day, so providing a solution that allows these organizations to always be ‘present’ with consumers has never been more important,” added Stromborg. “Clip To Card represents the next natural step for us in our journey of helping retailers and brands drive revenue by connecting with our growing, highly-motivated user-base in new ways.”

“We are always looking for new ways to provide the most relevant and timely ads, offers and promotions to consumers, and our partnership with Retale is another exciting step forward,” said John Breford, Executive Director, Brand Development for Catalina, which delivers hundreds of millions of digital coupons to consumers annually through food, drug and mass channels.

Founded in 2013, Retale has quickly become a go-to shopping resource for today’s mobile shopper. Reinventing the way shoppers consume information from stores and brands, Retale empowers 26 million active users worldwide to discover and receive great savings through ads and coupons, as well as get up-to-date store information through Retale’s mobile app and website.
