Hendell joins BrandShop from eBay Enterprise.

SHELTON, Conn. — BrandShop, a leading provider of branded digital commerce experiences, today announced that Reuben Hendell joined BrandShop as chief executive officer for the company on November 17, 2014.  Hendell will also serve on BrandShop’s Board of Directors.

With more than 25 years of experience, Hendell has counseled some of the world’s top brands and helped them drive revenue with highly productive consumer engagement platforms and marketing services.  Over the past five years Hendell has been entrenched in ecommerce witnessing firsthand how digital enablement has rapidly changed the consumer path to purchase.

Hendell joins BrandShop from eBay Enterprise (formerly GSI Commerce, Inc.), a $1B+ ecommerce technology, multichannel retailing and digital marketing company focused on the Fortune 1000 where he served as Chief Strategy Officer.  While at eBay Enterprise, he also led their Global Agency Services, helping clients grow their business by creating measurable value from the interactions between customers, brands and content.

Prior to eBay, Hendell served as CEO of MRM Worldwide, one of the world’s top five digital marketing agencies, where he led the agency’s transformation by successfully integrating multiple specialist agencies into a single global digital and direct marketing powerhouse with more than 60 offices in 40 countries.  Hendell was also an executive vice president at Digitas for 10 years, where he was a key contributor to the company’s growth.

Hendell holds an undergraduate degree from Colgate University and a Masters of Management degree with concentrations in Strategy and Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
