The move comes months after Novolex completed its $6.7 billion combination with Pactiv Evergreen in April 2025, creating one of the largest packaging companies in North America. Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging products.
The merger, finalized in April, brought together more than 250 brands and 39,000 SKUs across an extensive manufacturing and distribution network spanning the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
About the new Novolex chief procurement officer
Jones will lead Novolex’s global procurement strategy during a critical phase of integration and growth. He has been running over 30 years of supply chain and procurement leadership, including his most recent role as chief supply chain and procurement officer at Nova Chemicals.
“JT’s experience leading through significant change and building strategic partnerships will be vital as we unite our organizations and accelerate our innovation agenda,” said Novolex chairman and CEO Stan Bikulege.
Novolex’s combined ecommerce platform supports food service, grocery, retail, and industrial customers by providing online ordering, product customization, and real-time inventory visibility. The company continues to invest in sustainable packaging solutions across its expanded portfolio.
Michael King, former CEO of Pactiv Evergreen, remains with Novolex as an advisor, helping guide the integration.
