Top 1000 traffic by source and merchandise category

Looking at traffic by the type of merchandise sold, retailers of automotive parts and accessories get the largest percentage of traffic from organic search and apparel and accessories retailers the least. Retailers of food and beverages get nearly as much traffic from consumers navigating directly to their sites, a median 39.6%, as they do from organic search, 45.7%. Consumers shop for groceries regularly and likely know where they want to buy food and drink more than they do other products.
