Jason LaRose held a similar job at Express.

Sports apparel manufacturer Under Armour Inc. has a new executive in charge of its online retailing. Jason LaRose becomes senior vice president, global e-commerce for the company that holds the No. 143 spot in the 2013 Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

LaRose comes from Express Inc., No. 97 in the Top 500, where he worked from September 2011 until October 2013 and was the apparel retailer’s senior vice president of e-commerce. Before that, he worked as vice president, multichannel and international business, for Sears Holdings Corp., No. 6 in the Top 500.

LaRose “will oversee the global standard for all online consumer experiences and will be responsible for driving web business and strategies to further connect with the brand’s core consumer,” Under Armour says.

Under Armour also announced the following appointments and hire:

• Kip Fulks as president of product. He remains chief operating officer.
