The e-retailer is focusing on more product reviews and how-to videos.

Motorcycle and ATV products e-retailer BikeBandit.com has revamped its YouTube channel to offer customers more product reviews and instructional videos.

BikeBandit, No. 282 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has posted 253 videos since launching its YouTube channel in 2009. Since then, it has garnered more than 2,000 subscribers and nearly 1 million video views. But shoppers wanted more details and requested videos that explained how to install specific parts and choose among similar products.

The new videos offer tips on choosing the right tires, a brake pad installation guide and motorcycle repair advice. “We now have a constant flow of helpful and unique product videos that are made in-house by BikeBandit.com employees,” says a BikeBandit.com spokesman. “We’ve completely revamped our videos and are now producing about 10 videos a week.”

384 retailers listed in the 2012 Top 500 Guide have a YouTube channel. That’s up 22% from 316 in the previous edition.
