Aaron Goldman takes over the new position for the marketing firm.

Online marketing firm Kenshoo has hired Aaron Goldman as chief marketing officer, a new position. Kenshoo sells search, local, mobile, and social media marketing services.

Goldman previously worked as vice president of marketing and strategic partnerships at Resolution Media. He oversaw corporate marketing, industry relations, and new business development at the firm. He worked with such advertisers as Bank of America and Dell Inc., No. 3 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, and held spots on the advisory boards of Google Inc., Yahoo Inc. and Microsoft Corp.

Goldman also founded Connectual, a digital marketing and consulting firm. Kenshoo says Goldman has helped such companies as Omnicom Media Group, Info.com, Adify Media, and Elevate Studios to better market themselves. Goldman also wrote the book “Everything I Know about Marketing I Learned from Google.”
