2019 Amazon Report
Amazon continues to push towards undertakings outside of e-retail…and it’s proving profitable
Five years ago, 77% of Amazon’s revenue came from its online stores. For 2018, only 52.8% did. But this doesn’t mean Amazon is declining. The diversification of Amazon’s business ventures has resulted in record revenue for the ecommerce giant. With the addition of more physical stores, a larger fulfillment fleet, a better handle on AWS and the sales of advertising services, Amazon has quickly become a name synonymous with success.
The 75-page 2019 Amazon Report examines all of the services Amazon is offering, as well as how these are playing a part in the company’s long-term revenue growth. It breaks down Amazon’s expansion into non-marketplace assets, developments in healthcare and grocery, a review of Prime Day 2019 and how Amazon is using data collection.
