2020 Amazon Report

Amazon.com accounted for 37.5% of all U.S. online retail sales in 2019, using its ecommerce success to move rapidly into new arenas, including creating its own delivery service and moving into B2B ecommerce at home and abroad. The retail giant continues to invest in technology designed to increase consumer convenience—and to obtain invaluable consumer data through its mobile apps, Alexa, and Ring and Amazon Key services.

But despite its achievements in mobile innovation, and numerous other channels, Amazon is facing growing threats to its success. Recent investigations by the U.S., Canada, and the European Union of Amazon’s treatment of marketplace sellers poses a major threat to Amazon’s future growth.

The 2020 Amazon Report uses exclusive research and data to analyze the impending results and consequences of these legal challenges, as well as Amazon’s 146 (and growing) private-label brands, the impacts of COVID-19, the retailers growing distribution network, financials and much more.
