Agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO Corp. has named Jena Holtberg-Benge its new chief digital and information officer (CDIO).

The appointment takes effect March 16. It expands her responsibilities from leading the company’s after-sales parts business to overseeing its global digital and technology strategy.

About the new CDIO at AGCO

Holtberg-Benge joined AGCO in 2023 and most recently served as vice president of aftersales parts. She led initiatives to expand parts availability, improve operational efficiency and scale digital capabilities supporting the company’s dealer network and customers.

In her new role, Holtberg-Benge will oversee AGCO’s digital, data and information technology strategy. That includes cybersecurity and enterprise platforms designed to support the company’s long-term growth and technology modernization efforts.

AGCO said Holtberg-Benge brings more than two decades of experience in agriculture and manufacturing, with leadership roles spanning digital transformation, operations and business development. The company credited her with helping scale digital and AI-driven initiatives supporting its aftersales parts business.

She will be based at AGCO’s global headquarters in Duluth, Georgia.

Holtberg-Benge holds a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Vassar College.

AGCO manufactures agricultural machinery and precision agriculture technologies under brands including Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra, along with digital agriculture offerings through its PTx platform. The company said the appointment reflects its broader push to expand digital capabilities across equipment, software and dealer systems used in modern farming operations.
