Marketplace services provider Mirakl reported significant growth in 2024, achieving over $10 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) for the year.

The company also recorded its highest single-day GMV of $100 million on Black Friday.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday results for Mirakl

On Black Friday, Mirakl increased its GMV by 30%. Then, on Cyber Monday, Mirakl GMV growth reached 35% year over year.

Overall, North American GMV rose by 32%, with order volume increasing 28%, outperforming the 7% growth reported for U.S. retailers overall, according to the company.

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Mirakl Black Friday GMV grew by 43%, with orders up 40%.

In France and Belgium, specifically, Mirakl GMV rose by 40%. And in that time, orders increased by 52% year over year. The average order value (AOV) declined by 8%, reflecting a shift toward smaller, lower-cost purchases due to inflation.

Meanwhile, in the DACH Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Mirakl GMV grew by 61%, led by German retailers with a 79% increase. Unlike other regions, the DACH region saw a 19% rise in AOV, driven by demand for premium products like gift cards and specialty foods, the company said.
