Vizit is out to “revolutionize” how brands develop and optimize online content to engage customers and produce higher conversion rates.
The startup company has caught the eye of investors, who backed it this week with $25 million in funding.
“We see a lot of AI companies, but Vizit stands out as a unique AI-native company with significant traction, a blue-chip customer list, a massive data moat, and patented Visual AI technology,” says Brian Langner, managing director of Industry Ventures, which the led the Series B funding round. Industry Ventures also backs such companies as Alibaba Group, Uber and DocuSign.
Vizit promises content that resonates with online buyers
“At Vizit, we believe the future of content is about more than creation — it’s about connection,” founder and CEO Jehan Hamedi says. He adds that Vizit’s proprietary Visual AI Lenses technology “allows brands to deliver content that deeply resonates with their audiences, and that “this isn’t just a new way of working — it’s a new way of seeing.”
On Vizit.com, the vendor shows an example of how content generated through its Visual AI technology for a cosmetic product could display a “picture in a picture,” making brightly colored lipstick appear to virtually extend from the page to grab an online buyer’s attention.
Founded in 2020, Vizit works with such brands as Mars, Heineken and Ghirardelli.
Oliver Lee, global creative insights manager for confectionary and pet food manufacturer Mars Inc., says Vizit helps produce “high-impact, personalized” content to connects with buyers.
“Our visual content must be precisely optimized to stand out and convert consumers at every touchpoint,” he says in a Vizit press release, adding, “Vizit’s Visual AI Platform is now a critical component of our tech stack, enabling us to predict and deliver high-impact, personalized content that drives results. Without it, we’d be missing a crucial advantage in creating and syndicating category-leading digital experiences at the speed and scale our global market demands.”
Vizit asserts “intuitive AI” predicts buyers’ visual preferences
Vizit says its patented “intuitive AI” technology “interprets, measures, and predicts consumers’ visual preferences.”
It adds that, with its Visual AI Lenses, ecommerce professionals can use AI models that develop synthetic human preferences — based on the behavioral characteristics of specific audience segments — to help them “deliver personalized, high-converting content that resonates deeply with consumers.”
Vizit adds: “While generative AI creates content, Vizit’s Intuitive AI enables machines to see and interpret visuals as humans do, leveraging synthetic human preferences to predict audience reactions.”
Vizit cites conversion rates at Mars and Ghirardelli
According to Vizit, Mars has generated a 30% increase in conversion rates and Ghirardelli a 10% rise on Amazon through Vizit AI optimizations.
Langner says Vizit is “leading the creation of an entirely new category, Visual AI Intelligence,” which has “a massive total addressable market.”
He adds, “We’re confident in Vizit’s ability to not only reshape the future of e-commerce but to revolutionize the way business is done through AI-driven visual intelligence.”
Vizit now has total funding total funding of $35 million, according to Crunchbase.
