Merchants can feed product information to three more global e-marketplaces.

ChannelAdvisor, which helps retailers to sell in online marketplaces, comparison shopping engines and Internet search engines, says it has upgraded its web-hosted software to support global e-commerce.

It has updated its feeds for product listings and images to work in the following e-marketplaces: Amazon.com Inc. in Japan and China, Tesco Stores in the United Kingdom and Best Buy Co. in the United States. It also made its software available in Chinese; it already works in French, German, Portuguese and English

“The proliferation of global online marketplaces offers retailers and manufacturers new possibilities to reach new international consumers,” ChannelAdvisor CEO Scot Wingo says. “Using our e-commerce solutions, retailers can efficiently integrate to more marketplaces and manage all business operations from one unified platform.” That includes managing inventory across several marketplaces simultaneously, he says.

Additionally, ChannelAdvisor in its latest technology release yesterday introduced features to manage and automate Google Enhanced Campaigns across smartphones and tablets. Google Inc. launched Enhanced Campaigns in February. They enable advertisers to manage all their campaigns across any devices from one Google advertising account.

“Thanks to ChannelAdvisor’s support for Enhanced Campaigns, our account team was able to efficiently scale our mobile and tablet exposure without having to devote significant resources to create device specific campaigns,” says Andrew Bethel, paid search manager for online plants and shrubbery retailer Michigan Bulb Co. “Since the full rollout of Enhanced Campaigns, our performance across devices has been great.” He says that since the full rollout of Enhanced Campaigns midway through this summer, the retailer has increased its paid search clicks via tablets by 30 times year over year and conversions by more than 70 times year over year.

ChannelAdvisor has also added Actionable Retail Insights, which are specific recommendations, such as what prices to offer on the Amazon and eBay marketplaces and how much to bid for ads  on Google Inc. and Microsoft Corp.’s Bing search engines.

ChannelAdvisor ranks No. 1 among providers of e-marketplace management services in Internet Retailer’s Leading Vendors to the Top 1000 E-Retailers guide. 60 retailers in the 2013 Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide use the vendor’s marketplace management services and 72 use it for comparison engine feeds. 53 retailers in the 2013 Second 500 Guide use its marketplace management services and 36 use it for comparison engine feeds.
