Online shoe retailer Shoebuy.com Inc. has named Heather Adams as senior vice president of marketing and Kavita Baball as senior vice president of customer experience and retention, the retailer announced today.

Adams will oversee marketing for Shoebuy.com and focus on developing strategic marketing partnerships and channels. She previously worked at online storage provider Carbonite Inc. as senior director of acquisition marketing. In May, Shoebuy.com’s previous marketing executive, James Keller, left to become CEO at live chat and online customer service provider Vee24.

In Baball’s role at Shoebuy.com, No. 93 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, she will be in charge of the customer experience. Baball previously worked at Staples Inc., No. 2, as director of site optimization.
