Fraud prevention and payment services vendor ReD Worldwide has hired John Lees as its North America vice president of sales.

Lees will oversee the vendor’s customer relationships for North American clients.

The vendor aims for Lees to grow the brand’s North American presence and drive sales.

Prior to ReD, Lees worked at payment processing vendor First Data Corp. as vice president of international solution sales, according to ReD. Before that he held a number of sales and business development positions, including vice president of sales at card payment services vendor Metavante Technologies Ltd., according to his LinkedIn profile.

“John has a consistently successful track record in client relations and business development, working internationally with merchants, banks and corporates,” says Kevin Sprake, ReD president, North America.
