Jonathan Bernstein takes over for Brad Wolansky at the Redcats brand.

The Golf Warehouse said today it has a new CEO. Jonathan Bernstein has taken over for former CEO Brad Wolansky, who is in charge of Powered by TGW, an affiliate program that allows small sports management companies and smaller retailers to create a revenue stream through e-commerce.

Both The Golf Warehouse and Powered by TGW are part of Redcats USA, No. 34 in the Top 500 Guide. Bernstein, who starts immediately, reports to Jay Berlin, CEO of The Sportsman’s Guide, another Redcats holding.

Bernstein comes from hair product catalog and e-retailer Specialty Catalog Corp., where he had served as CEO since 2009. Before that, he was CEO of Home Décor Products, an online retailer of home products and appliances. He worked there from 2007 to 2009, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, he was president of Smith+Noble, a catalog and online retailer of window treatments. Early in his career, Bernstein was a brand manager for Procter & Gamble Co., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of consumer packaged goods.

“I am extremely pleased that Jon has joined the Redcats USA team,” says Sylvain Desjonquères, president and CEO for Redcats. “Jon is a strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple brands. With more than 30 years of retail experience, he is well prepared to continue the positive initiatives and innovation underway at The Golf Warehouse, especially as we capitalize on opportunities to expand our business.”
