Digital sales now represent more than one-third of Sonepar’s total annual revenue of €32.5 billion ($35.3 billion USD).

Sonepar reported a record €11 billion ($11.9 billion USD) in digital sales for 2024, a 30% year-over-year increase.

That underscores how the group is accelerating digital transformation and its growing dominance in the global B2B electrical distribution market.

The surge in digital revenue was powered by Sonepar’s proprietary omnichannel platform, Spark, which continues to redefine how customers engage with the company’s products and services.

Digital sales now represent more than one-third of Sonepar’s total annual revenue of €32.5 billion ($35.3 billion USD).

“Digitalization is at the heart of our strategy,” said Philippe Delpech, Sonepar president and CEO. “Our Spark platform is enabling us to better serve customers, streamline operations, and drive profitable growth at scale.”

The company matched its aggressive investment in digital infrastructure with physical transformation. In 2024, Sonepar opened 10 automated distribution centers worldwide, further modernizing its supply chain to support digital demand.

Digital growth also played a pivotal role in Sonepar’s North American expansion, where the group acquired 17 companies generating €2.2 billion ($2.4 billion USD) in combined revenue. With €16 billion ($17.4 billion USD) in sales across eight countries, North America has become Sonepar’s strongest regional market.

With 46,000 associates across 40 countries, Sonepar continues to pursue its purpose, “Powering Progress for Future Generations,” using digital innovation as a cornerstone of its global leadership strategy, the company says.
