Mars Inc., the global manufacturer behind popular brands like M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, Skittles, Whiskas, and Wrigley chewing gum, has appointed Marina Bellini as a technology officer and president of global business services.
In her new role, Bellini will lead Mars’ global operations in business services and oversee enterprise digital technologies. She joins the company from Itaú Unibanco, Latin America’s largest bank, where she served as chief operating officer for the past two years. Bellini has a rich background in digital transformation and has previously worked across Latin America, North America, and Europe, enhancing customer experiences, driving growth, and improving efficiency through data and digital innovation.
Before Itaú Unibanco, Bellini held several senior roles, including CIO/CDO at British American Tobacco (BAT), where she spearheaded digital transformation initiatives. She also served as CIO at PepsiCo Latin America, focusing on global categories, and spent 13 years with AB InBev in various leadership roles in IT, digital, data analytics, and operations, advancing to Global CIO and GBS SVP.
Based in Newark, New Jersey, Bellini will report directly to Mars’ chief financial officer, Claus Aagaard. “I’m confident she will continue to elevate our Global Business Services organization to best-in-class operations,” said Aagaard.
Mars Inc., headquartered in McLean, Virginia, is one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S., with annual revenue exceeding $50 billion as of 2023.
