Just over 60% of shoppers have between 2 and 5 retail apps on their smartphones, according to an Internet Retailer/Bizrate Insights survey of 1,110 in April 2019. Mobile app usage fell compared with mobile website usage, with consumers citing that mobile websites are “good enough” and apathetic attitudes toward retailer apps as the main reasons they have yet to download an app.
