Google Play sells digital goods and Google hardware online.

Google Inc. has long been helping consumers to manage their lives through a variety of free web-based tools like e-mail and documents. But this year the search engine giant launched a new platform for entertainment and e-commerce. Google Play is a place to buy digital goods and Google hardware, such as its Nexus line of tablets and smartphones. Logged-in users can keep track of past purchases and re-download to their devices content previously purchased on Play, including music, books, magazines, apps, TV shows and videos. The “shop” tab includes six categories of all the goods available for purchase. Google Wallet users can make purchases in one click and opt to download digital content directly to any of their synced Android devices.
