Kenshoo hires a Google veteran to lead the new Germany office.

Online marketing firm Kenshoo, which sells search, local, mobile, and social media marketing services, said this week it will open offices in France and Germany.

Kenshoo has hired Pascal Gayat, the former CEO of marketing firm Qausmediagroup, to oversee the French office as its market unit leader.

Frank Scheurer becomes the managing director of the German office. He previously worked as director of sales and marketing for online marketing firm Klickfreundlich GmbH. He has also worked as head of agency at Google Germany.

Kenshoo’s push to boost its European presence coincides with its appointment of Marco Botticelli as projects director and Darral Wilson as account manager in its United Kingdom-based office. Botticelli previously worked on search engine marketing at marketing firm Organic Inc. Wilson was employed as a pay-per-click specialist at Carat Media.

“Our new European offices and U.K. appointments are part of Kenshoo’s push to become fully embedded as the go-to technology for search marketing and social advertising across Europe,” says Chris Ward, Kenshoo managing director, Europe.
