Caterpillar set a goal last year of increasing online parts sales through its dealers by 50% within three years. In a keynote presentation at the EnvisionB2B conference on Wednesday, Brent Steffen, director of ecommerce, said Caterpillar is making progress through meticulous customer research, investments in personalization and a new mobile app.
Leading off the EnvisionB2B keynote sessions on June 21 are Brent Steffen, director of ecommerce at Cat Digital, Caterpillar Inc., and Sandy Mattinson, president of Grainger’s Zoro.com, which tops $1 billion in annual sales.
