2018 Top Digital Native Brands
The Rise of the Web-Only Brand reveals that a new crop of e-retailers, often referred to as “digitally native, vertically integrated brands,” are growing online sales three times faster than the broader U.S. e-commerce market through a series of innovative strategies that differentiate them from Amazon and other top online competitors.
The report ranks 75 web-only brands based on their 2017 online sales, including such leaders as Dollar Shave Club, men’s apparel maker Bonobos, and fresh food marketers Hello Fresh and Blue Apron, the two largest digital natives. The list also includes smaller web-only brands in niches that bigger online retailers have left untapped, like hunting apparel brand Kuiu, custom bridesmaid dress retailer Revelry, and branded mattress retailer Casper, the leader of the most explosive web-only brand category. Big and small, these digital natives are changing how brands sell to consumers.
