Consumers are more satisfied with desktop than mobile retail sites

More desktop shoppers are highly satisfied with the design of websites than mobile shoppers, suggesting room for improvement when it comes to mobile design. According to a November 2019 Digital Commerce 360 (formerly Internet Retailer) and Bizrate Insights survey of 1,035 online shoppers, 66% rated the design of desktop websites in the range of 8-10 on a 10-point scale—suggesting they were mostly or highly satisfied—compared with only 51% of mobile users.
