Healthcare products distributor Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC grew its West Coast presence with the purchase of Rockwell Medical Supply, the companies announced yesterday. Terms were not disclosed.

St. Louis-based Concordance has 16 distribution centers serving more than two-thirds of the healthcare systems in the United States, the company says. Its customers include acute care and surgery centers, physician practices and primary care facilities, nursing homes and emergency services providers. It sells through a field sales force, call center and online at ConcordanceHealthcare.com.

Concordance previously shipped to the entire U.S., but the purchase of Seal Beach, Calif.-based Rockwell adds its first California distribution center. “This acquisition continues our strategic expansion plan and further strengthens Concordance as a leader in the medical supply industry,” says Tom Harris, co-president and CEO of Concordance.

Rockwell has been in business since 1978 and sells products to physicians, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, correctional facilities, government agencies, and occupational and industrial healthcare facilities. It also sells through a field sales force, call center and online at RockwellMDSupply.com.

Concordance was formed in 2016 by the combination ofthree independent medical supplies distributors: Kreisers Inc., Sioux Falls, S.D., MMS—A Medical Supply Co., Earth City, Mo., and Seneca Medical, Tiffin, Ohio.
