MSupply has hired former Ferguson Enterprises executive Bryce Koch as senior vice president of digital innovation.
It has newly created the role to underscore the distributor’s plan to accelerate its technology and -commerce overhaul. Koch brings two decades of experience in digital strategy, merchandising and omnichannel development. At mSupply, he will oversee the distributor’s digital ecosystem and lead its marketing and ecommerce teams. This comes as the company sharpens its online capabilities for customers in the appliance, HVAC and plumbing markets.
In a statement, CEO Asterios Satrazemis said Koch has a strong record of building scalable digital platforms and improving customer experience.
“He brings the perfect mix of strategic vision and direct leadership to deliver the seamless, data-driven experience that our customers prefer,” Satrazemis said.
Veteran digital executive joins mSupply at a pivotal time
Koch most recently served as vice president of digital commerce at Ferguson Enterprises. There, he played a key role in modernizing the company’s online and omnichannel operations. His tenure included work on digital merchandising, platform upgrades and customer-experience improvement.
Koch said distributors that invest in technology and redesign customer-facing processes have an opportunity to differentiate as buying behavior continues to shift online.
“This is an exciting time to be at the forefront of development for the distribution industry,” he said in prepared remarks. “I look forward to putting my vision into action at mSupply as we create a business model that is simultaneously customer-focused and technologically advanced.”
The St. Louis-based distributor serves technicians, contractors and repair professionals across the United States and Canada. With more than 2,000 employees, mSupply has expanded its logistics network to support one- to two-day delivery for most U.S. customers. The company has also stepped up investment in digital infrastructure. That ranges from improved product content and search functionality to tools that streamline repeat ordering and job-site planning.
Koch’s appointment signals mSupply’s intent to compete more aggressively online as customer expectations rise and digital procurement becomes more embedded in day-to-day field work. The move aligns with broader trends across the distribution sector, where companies are:
- Consolidating platforms.
- Applying data to personalize buying journeys.
- Tightening integration between ecommerce, supply chain and branch operations.
For mSupply, adding a seasoned digital leader marks the next phase of that transition. It aims turn digital into a primary growth engine rather than a supporting channel.
