Bay Fastening Systems is expanding its omnichannel capabilities to give industrial buyers a more seamless and efficient purchasing experience.
The New York-based master distributor specializes in engineered fasteners, including rivets, bolts, threaded inserts, and tools. It serves industries from renewable energy to manufacturing and construction.
Known for its expertise and its role as a distributor for leading brands like Stanley, POP, and Avdel, Bay operates the Bay Supply online division, home to the Fastener Source & Supply Network. It says this platform connects more than 44,000 registered buyers with:
Supplier inventories
A“Buy Now” marketplace
Automated quoting
Buyer RFQ syndication
Manufacturers can use it to expand their digital reach, sell directly, or route leads to their distribution networks. Digital now accounts for 34% of Bay’s revenue.
How Bay Fastening is capitalizing on omnichannel infrastructure
“Our customers want to engage with us across multiple channels — whether online, through our inside sales team, or in person — and receive a consistent, frictionless experience,” said Michel Eichinger, chief operating officer at Bay Fastening Systems. “Many buyers in this industry still work through outdated quotation processes. We’re building a better system — one that connects the fastener supply chain digitally, improves efficiency, and makes it easier for manufacturers and distributors to engage with customers wherever they are.”
