The new interface allows formulation, research and development, and procurement professionals to search and interact with Tilley’s full catalog online.

Tilley Distribution has launched a new digital product catalog powered by Knowde’s AI-based platform, marking a step forward in the company’s digital transformation strategy.

The new interface allows formulation, research and development, and procurement professionals to search and interact with Tilley’s full catalog online. It gives them access to technical data, documentation, and direct quote requests. According to the company, the upgrade has already led to a 245% increase in sales leads. It has also risen website traffic 135%.

Tilley Distribution is a global distributor of specialty ingredients and chemicals.

The system is built on Knowde’s master data management (MDM) platform. It consolidates and standardizes product data, and the customer experience platform (CXP), which is the front-end interface. These tools enable a more efficient purchasing process while giving Tilley’s sales teams better access to consistent and structured product data, the company says.

“In today’s data-driven environment, providing our customers with an intuitive online experience is essential,” said Sean Tilley, co-CEO and chief commercial officer of Tilley Distribution. “By implementing Knowde’s technology, we’ve created a more efficient and responsive system that truly meets our customers’ needs.”

Headquartered in Maryland, Tilley Distribution operates in a range of regulated markets, including food and beverage, personal care, industrial manufacturing, and energy. The digital platform supports the company’s extensive product lines, including specialty chemicals, ingredients, lubricants, and fragrances.

For Knowde, the deployment adds to a growing roster of chemical and ingredient distributors adopting its software to modernize customer engagement and internal workflows.
