QXO Inc. has appointed Valeri Liborski as chief technology officer (CTO), effective April 21.
The move comes as the company prepares for its first major acquisition. QXO reached an agreement on the $11 billion purchase of Beacon Roofing Supply, a digitally advanced building products distributor.
New QXO CTO
Liborski brings more than two decades of experience leading technology and engineering teams at major global companies. Most recently, he served as CTO at HelloFresh. There, he oversaw technology operations across eight brands in 18 countries, managing a global tech team of more than 1,300. Prior to HelloFresh, he held senior leadership roles at Amazon, including vice president of technology for Amazon’s European consumer business. Earlier, he helped scale AWS’s Route 53 platform. He began his career in engineering at Microsoft.
“Val has built his career at high-performance companies where execution is crucial to market leadership,” said Brad Jacobs, chairman and CEO of QXO, in a statement. “His experience leading world-class teams at some of the most innovative companies in the world gives QXO a major competitive advantage.”
Liborski will oversee QXO’s technology strategy, product development, and data infrastructure as the company pursues its vision to build a digital-first industrial services and distribution platform.
His appointment comes as QXO moves to finalize its acquisition of Beacon Roofing Supply, a $9.1 billion distributor known for its advanced ecommerce and logistics capabilities. The $11 billion deal, announced earlier this year, marks QXO’s entry into the distribution sector and underscores its focus on technology-led growth.
Beacon Roofing Supply has made significant investments in digital tools for contractors, including online ordering, mobile apps, and real-time delivery tracking. QXO plans to build on that foundation as it expands its presence across building products and industrial supply verticals.
