The Series B funding follows Roofr’s earlier $23.5 million raise in October 2023, which was led by Vertical Venture Partners.

Roofr, a software company serving roofing contractors, has raised an undisclosed Series B funding round to expand its all-in-one roofing platform.

The round was led by TCV with participation from ABC Supply, the largest roofing materials distributor in North America.

The Series B funding follows Roofr’s earlier $23.5 million raise in October 2023, which was led by Vertical Venture Partners. That round helped launch the company’s CRM and supported the development of tools for payment processing, material purchasing, and job management. Other backers in the previous round included Bullpen Capital, Interplay Ventures, i2BF, SVB, Ace & Company, MGFO, and Podemsky Ventures.

About Roofr’s Series B Funding

Founded in 2016 by third-generation roofer Richard Nelson, Roofr offers digital tools for roofing businesses, including measurement reports, instant estimates, proposals, invoicing, job boards, and workflow automation. The company says it now serves more than 12,000 roofing contractors across North America.

“We weren’t actively fundraising, but this additional capital allows us to build aggressively while others are pulling back,” Nelson said after the previous round. “We’re committed to building the operating system roofers need.”

TCV general partner Tim McAdam said the investment reflects confidence in Roofr’s approach.

“We believe their technology and services will modernize the roofing industry,” he said.

Roofr plans to use the Series B funding to expand hiring across engineering, product, sales, and customer success, while accelerating its roadmap for new platform features such as canvassing, marketing tools, work orders, and document automation.

Since its last raise, Roofr has doubled its headcount to more than 100 employees and expanded its leadership team. The company says its goal is to streamline day-to-day operations for contractors and give them tools to grow more efficiently.
