CDW, a leading distributor of IT products and services for business and non-corporate sectors, is making significant management changes to bolster growth. These adjustments include expanded responsibilities for Liz Connelly, who will now oversee digital commerce and transformation efforts as part of her role as chief commercial officer. Connelly’s new responsibilities span U.S. sales, sales enablement, integrated technology solutions, and digital acceleration.
Connelly, who joined CDW in 2018 after a transformative career at J.P. Morgan Chase, where she managed large-scale businesses, has held multiple key roles at CDW, including:
- Senior vice president, vertical markets.
- Senior vice president, healthcare.
- Chief human resources officer.
With $21 billion in revenue reported in 2023, CDW also announced that current chief commercial and operating officer Chris Corley will step down from her current role ahead of her planned retirement. She will transition into a new position as president of international and vice chair, working closely with CDW CEO Chris Leahy on strategic priorities aimed at driving growth, including CDW’s international expansion.
For Q2 ending June 30, 2024, CDW reported $5.42 billion in sales, reflecting a 3.6% decrease from $5.626 billion in Q2 2023. Net income rose to $281 million, up from $263 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
CDW provides access to over 250,000 technology products from more than 1,000 brands, including:
- Cables.
- Computers.
- Phones and video conferencing solutions.
- Printers and supplies.
- Software.
- Security solutions.
- Data management tools.
