Housewares and home furnishings ecommerce sales increase
Housewares and home furnishing retailers grew total sales faster than just ecommerce sales in 2021, with total sales reaching $XXX.X billion among the retailers in the 2022 Digital Commerce 360 Top 1000. That’s XX.X% higher than the previous year, a higher growth rate than ecommerce sales, which rose XX.X%.
Wayfair continued to lead the category in online sales. The top five retailers in the category are as follows.

The median conversion rate for the housewares and home furnishings category was XX.X% with a $XX.X average ticket for the median retailer. The largest age demographic shopping on housewares sites were 25–34 year olds, with XX.X% of visits, followed by 35–44 with XX.X%, 45–54 with XX.X%, 55–64 with 16.1%, 18-24 with XX.X% and 65+ with XX.X%.
