Finding answers to problems and best practices that help overcome ecommerce challenges is at the heart of the workshops on June 8, the first day of Digital Commerce 360’s upcoming in-person event, EnvisionB2B Conference & Exhibition, premiering June 8-10 at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago.

Getting business-to-business ecommerce right each and every time is crucial to organizations of all sizes as they strive to engage the growing multitudes of business buyers that now see themselves as digital-first customers.

But executing a digital commerce strategy, whether an organization is launching a digital channel for the first time or revamping ecommerce to take it to a new level, is not without its challenges.

Finding answers to problems and best practices that help overcome ecommerce challenges is at the heart of the workshops on June 8. That’s the first day of Digital Commerce 360’s upcoming in-person event, EnvisionB2B Conference & Exhibition, premiering June 8-10 at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago.

EnvisionB2B workshops

The workshops begin with a session from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Central with notable ecommerce technology, customer service, marketing, and business strategy practitioners and analysts dispensing best practices and actionable advice on the topic: Maximize Performance with an Ecommerce Tune-Up. Speakers Justin Racine, director, commerce strategy at Perficient; Gregg Walker, vice president of ecommerce with Bulbs.com; Mike Mayer, CEO of Main Event Digital; and Jay Schneider, founder and lead consultant for B2B-Squared, will provide tips and techniques to improve all aspects of an ecommerce program, from back-end systems and data management to ecommerce technology, customer service, marketing, order processing, logistics/delivery and more.

The second workshop — Unlock Online Potential with an Honest Appraisal, scheduled to take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central — features healthy criticism dispensed from design and performance experts who know what organizations need to do to improve their ecommerce website design and social media performance. Panelists Tom Funk, ecommerce director for Ann Clark Ltd.; Lori McDonald, president and CEO of Brilliance Business Solutions; and Scott Emalfarb, founder and CEO of Fresh Content Society, will present web design and performance and provide session attendees with a chance to have their website, Facebook or other social media channel critiqued by an experienced designer.
