Amazon Business—often the subject of speculation about just how fast it is growing as a B2B ecommerce juggernaut—provided some clarification today: It has surpassed $25 billion worldwide annualized gross merchandise sales, including sales by many thousands of third-party sellers as well as by Amazon itself.

And it’s still not quite six years old.

How much more will Amazon Business grow? One investment analyst, Colin Sebastian of R.W. Baird & Co., projects its sales will more than triple within four years to more than $80 billion and eventually rival Amazon’s hundreds of billions in retail sales.
