Today we introduce a new web platform and brand—Digital Commerce 360—that brings together the news, data and analysis from three publications known for their in-depth coverage of online retailing, business-to-business e-commerce and digital healthcare.
Readers will find breaking news, research and articles from Internet Retailer magazine and InternetRetailer.com; the B2BecNews newsletter and B2BeCommerceWorld.com; and the newsletter Internet Health Management and InternetHealthManagement.com.
The new platform, developed during a 16-month collaboration with New York e-commerce design agency Cake & Arrow, makes related content from all three of these news sites readily available to readers. For example, a reader viewing an article about a consumer marketing program from Staples Inc. will easily find content about StaplesAdvantage.com, the office supplies retailer’s B2B e-commerce site. A Walgreens Inc. initiative related to digital healthcare will be available to readers interested in online retailing.
At the bottom of each article appears a list of the Topics, Companies and Industries featured in the article. Clicking on the name of retailer Target, for example, brings the reader to a profile of the retailer followed by recent articles about it. Clicking on “social media marketing” will call up recent articles and research on the topic.
“We’ve been steadily expanding our coverage of e-commerce and digital healthcare ever since we began publishing Internet Retailer 18 years ago this month,” says Jack Love, chairman and co-founder of parent company Vertical Web Media LLC. “Today, we are thrilled to announce the next big step we have taken to serve you better—the launch of our new web platform that pulls all of our news, strategic analysis and research on multiple e-commerce verticals into a sleek, responsive-design website.”
Readers who sign up for a free DC360 membership will have access to daily online news about e-retail, B2B e-commerce and digital healthcare. They will also be able to read more than 50,000 archived articles from Internet Retailer magazine, InternetRetailer.com, B2BeCommerceWorld.com and InternetHealthManagement.com; members-only analytical pieces; and contributed articles from scores of industry executives. They will also have access to VIP passes to online and in-person events. Premium memberships will provide access to in-depth research reports and detailed profiles of the Top 1000 online retailers in North America.
“We’re excited about the value the new DC360 site brings to readers—from offering varying levels of membership for access to exclusive content like company profiles, to making strategic content, charts and data more accessible,” says Alex Schmelkin, founder and CEO of Cake & Arrow. “DC360 has so much rich content, and the new site helps readers find what’s most valuable to them, right away.”
