New Product Showcase Will Exclusively Feature Indiegogo-funded Products.

January 31, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA – Newegg, the leading tech-focused e-retailer in North America, is preparing to unveil a new landing page dedicated to products funded by the Indiegogo platform. This is the next step in its collaboration with Indiegogo to help funded campaigns sell and deliver products as efficiently as possible.

In June of 2016, Newegg announced it would begin supporting select Indiegogo campaigns that successfully met their funding goals. Since then, the company has been working with approximately 20 individual entrepreneurs and small businesses, helping them make the leap from funding to product delivery. Newegg provides guidance on go-to-market strategies, shipping options and sales to help these entrepreneurs get their products in customers’ hands quickly and efficiently.

“We like the entrepreneurial spirit of Indiegogo’s campaigners, and we’re fortunate to play a role in their success,” said Danny Lee, CEO of Newegg. “Crowdfunding entrepreneurs often find it challenging to build and ship products to their customers, and we’re happy to lend our support to help them as they build their businesses.”

“We’re excited to see Newegg help Indiegogo entrepreneurs by accelerating the delivery of these innovative new products to eager customers,” said Slava Rubin, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Indiegogo. “Newegg brings significant distribution and fulfillment muscle to bear, enabling Indiegogo campaigners to journey from concept to market in record time.”

Newegg’s support of the Indiegogo campaigns it selects includes social exposure, order fulfillment, shipping and other logistical support, including its Shipped by Newegg (SBN) program. In addition to the 20 campaigns currently supported by Newegg, more than 100 additional Indiegogo campaigns are currently under consideration. Eleven have been confirmed for roll-out in Q1, with many more on the way.
