BEIJING, Oct. 13, 2016 — Chinese B2B e-commerce marketplace DHgate.com announces the start of an exclusive agreement with the Chinese city of Xianyang that will create a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot region, and serve as a channel for Chinese and Spanish SMEs (small-and-medium sized enterprises) to buy and sell products to businesses in the other country.

The agreement includes a version of DHgate.com specifically for the Spanish market; comprehensive service centers in both Madridand Xianyang for product display, keeping products in stock, logistics services, customs clearance, customer service, credit loans and internet finance for SMEs to scale up their businesses, training for sellers, and a cross-border e-commerce big data processing center which will provide industrial cloud based services to SMEs.

The agreement also features the launch of a social commerce app called SocialShops, which was created by DHgate.com and provides all necessary functions of trade to SMEs in the convenience of a mobile app, which is now available for android and iOS inChina, Spain, and the US.

Spanish SMEs will be able to export products to the Chinese market directly through the service center in Xianyang. The government of Xianyang is especially excited for their SMEs to access Spain’s world renowned wine making and grape growing technology and equipment directly from Spanish SMEs while Chinese SMEs expect to sell consumer electronics, outdoor sporting equipment, health and beauty products, and wigs to the Spanish market.
