SureShot Media & Marketing LLC has merged with Connexio Labs, and the combined firms will focus on expanding their portfolios of online marketing and sales tools. The new firm will be headed by SureShot CEO David York and operate under the SureShot  name, York says. The firms did not comment further on the terms of the merger.

SureShot specializes in mobile apps that integrate with marketing software from Oracle Corp., particularly the Oracle Eloqua software  for managing automated B2B marketing campaigns. Two of SureShot’s main products are Reach, a mobile app designed for using text and voice messaging as part of marketing campaigns conducted with Oracle Eloqua; and Talk, a mobile app developed with Connexio Labs that integrates with a client’s customer relationship management system to help salespeople manage communications with customers based on updated account activity.

Among the first projects of the merged company will be to develop more features for the Reach product as well as develop new products designed to work with the Oracle Marketing Cloud suite of software for managing multichannel marketing campaigns.
