Actress and animal rights activist Betty White is the new spokesperson for 1-800-PetMeds. White is featured in 1-800-PetMeds' 2007 advertising campaign, including new TV commercials airing nationally.

Actress and animal rights activist Betty White is the new spokesperson for PetMed Express Inc., the multiple market retailer of pet prescription and non-prescription medication and other health products also known as 1-800-PetMeds. PetMed Express is No. 110 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites.

White is featured in 1-800-PetMeds’ 2007 advertising campaign, including new TV commercials airing nationally. She addresses pet owners from her home about the value of using flea, tick and heartworm medications year-round.

The 85-year-old White has had a lifelong interest in animals and serves on the Morris Animal Foundation, a national research group dedicated to improving the health of companion animals. In addition, she authored the book, “Betty White`s Pet Love: How Pets Take Care of Us.” White’s television legacy includes “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” and recent guest appearances on “The Bold and The Beautiful” and “Boston Legal.”
