UniUni said it significantly expanded its North American footprint in 2025, reporting sharp gains in geographic coverage, shipment volume and funding as ecommerce merchants seek faster and more transparent delivery alternatives.
UniUni said its delivery network now covers 65% of the U.S. and 80% of Canada, reaching more than 500 North American cities.
“It was a pivotal year for UniUni as we deepened both our physical presence and end-to-end last-mile capabilities across the U.S. and Canada,” said Peter Lu, co-founder and chief executive officer.
The company also named Sheila Berry as chief revenue officer. It’s tasking her with leading go-to-market strategy, strengthening commercial partnerships and supporting expansion into new markets.
Founded in 2019, UniUni operates a technology-driven last-mile delivery platform serving ecommerce merchants across North America. UniUni said it secured $70 million in funding during the year. Bessemer Venture Partners led the funding, with participation from DCM, Celtic House and LFX Venture Partners. The financing brings the company’s total capital raised since its founding to more than $200 million.
How UniUni has grown its North American delivery network
As part of its operational expansion, UniUni said it deployed robotic sortation technology through a partnership with Global Robotics Services, reporting 100% sorting accuracy across its facilities. The company said the automation increased throughput and supported continued scaling of its warehouse network.
In March, UniUni acquired Shippie, a Toronto-based regional delivery provider. Through the acquisition, UniUni seeks to strengthen local delivery coverage and expand retail-focused services across Canada and the U.S.
The company also announced multiple platform and carrier partnerships in 2025, including integrations with ShipWise to support cross-border logistics between the U.S. and Canada, and Shipium, expanding UniUni’s reach among enterprise and retail shippers. Additional integrations included ConnectShip, EasyPost and ShipHero.
UniUni said it launched an end-to-end U.S.-to-Canada cross-border delivery service. It enables merchants to manage shipments from first-mile pickup through customs clearance and final delivery within a single network.
The company also expanded its small-business shipping services in Canada. It has opened staffed UniUni Stores and drop-off locations in Toronto and other markets to allow smaller ecommerce sellers to onboard and begin shipping with minimal setup.
UniUni said it continued sustainability initiatives in 2025 through partnerships with Carbonzero and veritree, supporting carbon-neutral shipping options and reforestation projects.
