The Arizona facility and other recent initiatives reflect Parts Town’s focus on improving operational efficiency and meeting customer needs in a competitive distribution landscape.

Parts Town Unlimited, the parent company of Parts Town, has announced the opening of a 427,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The company is a distributor of foodservice equipment parts, residential appliance parts, HVAC components, consumer electronic parts, and related products.

New Parts Town fulfillment center

This fulfillment facility is Parts Town’s fourth and largest distribution center. It surpasses the size of its primary hub in Addison, Illinois. Located in the Phoenix metro area, Parts Town equipped the fulfillment center with automated systems designed to improve delivery times for customers in the western United States.

“The addition of this fulfillment center enhances our capacity to support a growing customer base and strengthen our partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs),” says CEO Steve Snower. “It enables us to expand in-stock availability and improve delivery speeds across key parts categories.”

Parts Town expects the Arizona center to create approximately 100 jobs in its initial phase. It has designed the facility to centralize distribution processes, reduce the number of split shipments, and enhance delivery efficiency.

Parts Town has projected 20% organic growth in its core foodservice parts business for 2024. The company also continues to grow in residential appliance and HVAC parts, with the latter category added earlier this year. Annual revenue is forecast to exceed $2.4 billion in 2024, compared to $1.8 billion in 2022.

Parts Town’s same-day delivery initiative

In May 2024, Parts Town introduced same-day delivery at over 130 locations nationwide, serving areas within a 50-mile radius in select cities, such as Chicago. This service allows customers to receive deliveries within two hours for select items, with fees starting at $20. The initiative is powered by a partnership with Roadie, a UPS company specializing in logistics.

The Arizona facility and other recent initiatives reflect Parts Town’s focus on improving operational efficiency and meeting customer needs in a competitive distribution landscape.
