Proto Labs Inc., the Minneapolis product maker that bills itself as the most digitally advanced manufacturer, had a good second quarter. For Q2 ended June 30, Proto Labs posted total revenue of $123.0 million, an increase of 15.4% from revenue of $106.6 million in the second quarter of 2020. But for the first six months of the year growth was not nearly as robust. For the first half of the year, Proto Labs, which accepts and processes all orders digitally, grew sales by 7.9% to $239.2 million from $221.7 million in the first six months of 2020.
