ADS Solutions, a vendor of cloud-based enterprise resource planning software for wholesale distributors, and ShippingEasy, a vendor of cloud-based shipping and inventory managementtechnology for small to mid-sized companies, announced on Tuesday an agreement to jointly offer a range of shipping tools.

The ADS product, labeled Accolent ERP, is available in cloud-based and on-premises versions. Under the agreement, Accolent ERP customers can now access ShippingEasy’s returns and insurance automation features,along with discounted shipping rates. ShippingEasy boasts discounts ranging from 9% to 46% off U.S. Postal Service shipping rates, along with discounted package insurance rates through Shipsurance, an e-commerce package insurance company. ERP software suites contain multiple applications for managing such operations inventory, financial accounting and customer accounts.

ShippingEasy has four basic rate plans that range from $29 per month for 500 shipments to $99 for 6,000 monthly shipments, and an enterprise plan at $149 per month.

Accolent ERP customers also can access ShippingEasy’s “Flat Green Rate” that prices shipments based on their order’s dimensions rather than weight, which ShippingEasy says provides discounts on smaller, heavier packages. “This partnership gives Accolent ERP customers access to preferred rates and more shipping options,” says Ann Grace, ADS Solutions’ director of marketing. “It is especially helpful to those distributors who are selling on multiple platforms like Shopify, Amazon and eBay.”

ShippingEasy customers can now expand beyond e-commerce into Accolent ERP’s functionality including purchasing, inventory control, sales, customer relationship management, customer service, billing, warehouse management, fulfillment and accounting. “Accolent ERP will provide ShippingEasy customers a more comprehensive end-to-end, streamlined way of automating their shipping and inventory management needs,” says Katie May, ShippingEasy’s CEO.

ShippingEasy enables order consolidation across multiple channels, the company says, and multiple carriers, including USPS, FedEx and UPS.
